NEW ENGLAND CHIPPENDALE STYLE BENCHMADE HIGHBOY. 20th Century. Constructed of old parts. The upper case with full bonnet swan’s neck pedimont terminating in floral rosettes flared by flame finials, centering a plume finial. Two short drawers centering a fan carved deep drawer over three drawers fitted to the lower case of a long drawer over three aligned short drawers, the center most fan carved above a shaped apron carved with floral rosettes. Raised on cabriole legs, fan carved with scrolled returns on claw and ball feet. SIZE: 81″ h. Case 36″ w. Overall 39-1/2″ w x 21″ d. CONDITION: Very good. 9-24686 (700-900)
