WILL JAECKEL (German, 1888-1944) COAST OF CAPRI. Large oil on canvas coastline scene shows wind swept trees on the edge of water with islands beyond. Signed lower right “W Jaeckel 24″. Housed in its original gilt wood frame. SIZE: 40″ x 40”. PROVENANCE: Purchased from the artist by our consignor. CONDITION: Two small patches to reverse which correspond to two punctures on front which have not been inpainted. Original canvas, otherwise very good. 9-97418 (2,000-4,000)
