HAND SEWN PERSIAN ROBE, PANTS & SASH. Early 20th century. Robe with alternating broad ivory and lavender stripes, decorated overall with gold scrollwork; the neckline and breast appliqued with ornate scrolling minarets fashioned with silver and gold thread and heightened with embossed gold banding. Accompanied by a pair of linen short trousers cinched at the waist and leg, as well as a broad crimson sash with tassel ends. SIZE: 51″ l of robe. 73″ l of sash.
