The octagonal shadow box case with a geometric arrangement of sea shells centering a circular mosaic montage including the words “NIL DESPERANDUM” (Never despair) centering an anchor. SIZE: h. 1-3/4″ x d. 12-1/4″ CONDITION: Structurally very good some shells need re gluing to backing. Ebonized frame very good overall. 9-98890 (1,000-2,000)
