FINE HALF HULL MODEL OF A FOUR-MAST SCHOONER. Early 20th Century. This good example constructed of seven lifts, and painted black above the waterline, depicted with rudder, bowsprit, mounted on a mahogany board. Titled beneath the keel in gilt lettering “FOUR MASTED SCHOONER”, applied with a brass plaque engraved with “1903”, possibly a date of manufacturing. The back of the mounting plaque affixed with a label “PROPERTY OF CARROL BJORNSON, BJORNSON SHIPPING N.Y.C”. SIZE: 10″ h x 51-1/4″ l. CONDITION: Very good overall with original paint and varnish surfaces showing overall craquelure. 9-98912 (1,500-2,000)
