TIFFANY STUDIOS DAFFODIL TABLE LAMP. Leaded shade begins with a floral daffodil pattern constructed with fairly dense gold, yellow and butterscotch glass. The leaves are in various shades of green striated and mottled glass. Completing the shade are lighter pieces of green to white representing the sky. This shade is referenced by collectors as a long-stemmed daffodil as the buds are primarily at the top of the shade and are supported by long stems. Shade is supported by a bronze single-socket base with three arms that support the shade and extending down to a decorated bullet style base on a square foot all having a desirable patina finish. The base is finished with a square platform foot. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York” (“New York” is very, very faint). Base is signed with a “Tiffany Studios” logo. SIZE: Shade 14″ dia. Overall is 20″ t. CONDITION: The shade is very good although slightly out of round and has a few tight hairlines commensurate with age. It shows no sign of impact damage or restoration. Base appears to have an old repatinated finish which is very nice and most likely done at the factory. 5-66014 (15,000-25,000)
