Female seated musician playing a stringed instrument, perhaps a lute while being offered floral gifts by two male admirers. The three posed beneath a tree on rockwork plinth with foliate garland border. Incised “D95”. Impressed mark “48”. Painted in red “67”. Crossed swords in underglaze blue. SIZE: 10-1/4″ h. PROVENANCE: From a fine New Jersey home. CONDITION: With losses and restoration to upper branches of tree. Otherwise very good. 9-24542 (2,000-3,000)
