Maine Destroyed in Havannah Harbor February 15th 1898” and “This tablet is cast from metal recovered from the U.S.S. Maine”. Stamped “#1162” on the edge. Artist and foundry marks on bottom right of plague, “C. KECK SC. 1913 CAST BY JANO. WILLIAMS INC., N.Y.”. SIZE: 12-3/4″ x 17-1/2″. CONDITION: Old patina with some tarnish, otherwise very good.
