TIFFANY STUDIOS PINE NEEDLE TWINE BOX. One of the rarest pieces in desk accessories, this six sided twine box is decorated with a bronze pine needle decoration with a green/brown and reddish finish set on green striated glass with hints of blue and white. The twine box is finished with a double row of bronze beading. A similar example of this twine box may be found in the book Tiffany Desk Sets by William R. Holland on page 73 Fig. 272 where it also mentions that only two other desk set patterns have this item. The box is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 9”. SIZE: 3-1/4″ h x 4″ w.
