FOUR MEISSEN GILT-DECORATED BOWLS. Second-third quarter 20th century. German. Each bowl gilt decorated with four floral reserves; three centering a cartouche of leaf tips, fourth with polychrome painted central floral bouquet. Two on ivory ground, one on deep indigo ground, forth on cranberry ground with the central floral spray on white ground. Ivory bowls; each impressed “79-1” and “867”, with crossed swords and underglaze blue, additional marked in gold with “375/31”. Indigo bowl with impressed numerals “79X” and “58” with crossed swords in underglaze blue. Cranberry bowl with no impressed marks, but with number “702099 48″ in red. SIZE: Ivory: 11″ dia.
