FINE AESTHETIC MOVEMENT CHERRY ETAGERE. Last quarter 19th century, New York City. Attributed to Herter Brothers. The cabinet with crenelated foliate cornice above the pierced floral frieze raised on turned colonnettes centering a beveled mirror plate. A pair of winged griffins flanking the mirror each above a shelf with gallery over a series of three shelves joined by floral carved colonnettes above an additional shelf with arched pierced supports flanked by cabinet with incised curved door. With cast brass hinges all centering the cabinet door with beveled mirror plate flanked by open shelves. SIZE: 77″ h x 49″ w 15″ d.
