ALEXANDRE MARIE GRASSIN (French, 1883) “ON THE BANKS OF THE AVEN (BRITTANY)”. Oil on canvas scene shows a mill house next to water with a hill background. Signed lower right “A Grassin 1919″. Housed in a good gilt molded wood frame. The back foam board backing having a Brooklyn Museum label indicating that it was a gift of Otto H.
