MINERVA J. CHAPMAN (American, 1858-1947) “SUR LA PLAGE”. Interesting oil on wood panel beach scene shows couples on a beach looking out at a double stacked steamship and sailboat. Two flagpoles have red, white and blue pennants. Signed lower left “M Chapman” and titled lower right. Housed in a gilt carved wood frame linen and gilt liner. SIZE: Sight: 12″ x 14″.
