SIX PIECE LIONEL 400E WORK TRAIN SET. Lionel 400E locomotive, tender and four freight cars. Has red and white number board. Caboose number 217 with bright red sides and peacock roof, search light car number 220 with black frame with terracotta base and brass headlight, operating dump car number 218 has black base with brown body, and crane number 219 with dark green roof, peacock sides and black frame. Lionel’s famous 400E is great on any layout or collection. CONDITION: Tender, cab and boiler appear to be original black paint with copper trim. Replacement LTI frame. Pilot has been redone. Replacement wheels. Original die cast tender has very minor touch-up on tank. Caboose – overall appearance very good plus. Search light car – some minor rust or pebbling on one side, other side is very nice, both search lights have lenses and are complete, overall very nice. Dump car – has original gear, some spidering on frame and minor chips, overall very nice. Crane – scratches on roof and frame, boom is red and appears to be very good, and inside crane has one bad gear and other gear is going, but otherwise good. 1-7949 (2,000-3,000)
