INLAID JAPANESE MATCHLOCK MUSKET. NSN. 54 Cal. 41” irregular bbl with lotus muzzle. The top of the bbl is inlaid with silver dragons. The brass inlays are lightly engraved in flower form. The lockplate is signed in a sunken vase-shaped four character cartouche. CONDITION: Brown patina on bbl. Heavy tarnish on the silver inlay. Brass has mellowed to dark patina.
