OUTSTANDING STERLING AESTHETIC MOVEMENT HANDLED CUP BY RENOWNED 1800’S SILVERSMITH DOMINICK & HAFF. The cup dated “1882” and maker marked has a hand hammered background with lifelike naturalistic motif of a marsh scene with cattails and plants with their often used decorative pre-flight water beetle. A C-scroll handle which also is hand hammered. A wonderful example of this period design. WEIGHT: 5 tr. oz. SIZE: 3-3/4″ h x 2-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: Small dents in bottom, very good. 9-24840 (1,200-1,500)
