OUTSTANDING HAND-DRAWN AND COLORED ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING OF A LOCOMOTIVE. Drawn by John Wallace Elder of New York City, the drawing titled “Erie Railroad Class L-1 0-8-8-0”. Specification key in upper right, the two-part drawing having engine and coal car, the locomotive circa 1910 was the largest “camelback” locomotive ever built. Only three were built, all by the American Locomotive Company. The drawing is dedicated to the memory of James Millholland. Housed in a dark molded wood frame with glass. SIZE: Sight: 22-3/4″ x 59″.
