CASED STERLING 12″ PIERCED BOWL SERVING SPOON BY A.E. CALDWELL & CO. IN THE “KING” PATTERN. The spoon marked “J E Caldwell & Co. 925”, probably made by Dominick & Haff. The bowl with gold wash and a monogram on the handle “E”. The spoon coming with its original fancy blue lined case stamped with gold embossing “JE Caldwell & Co. Philadelphia”. WEIGHT: 3.5 tr. oz. SIZE: Case: 14″ x 4″. PROVENANCE: From a private Maine home. CONDITION: Spoon is very good; Case with loose hinge, shows some wear, generally good. 9-24802 (200-400)
