FINE PERSIAN SILVER DAGGER AND POWDER FLASK INLAID WITH GOLD. Mid 19th century or earlier, possibly Katar Region, India. The dagger with curved blade with raised fuller mounted within its original filigreed and chased silver sheath. The powder flask retaining original measure with chased silver case and overlaid with bands of gold with chased floral design. Gold not tested. The flask with inscription on side probably designating owner’s name. SIZE: Overall dagger: 13-1/4″ l. Flask: 10″ l. CONDITION: Both pieces in original condition, each with light abrasion, the sheath of the dagger with multiple dents and dimples throughout. Otherwise good. 9-28863 (4,000-7,000)
