FULL BODY COPPER EAGLE WEATHERVANE. Second half 19th century, New England. The gilded copper example of a displayed eagle perched on mid-molded ball joined to an arrow. SIZE: Wingspan: 27-1/2″. Approximate length: 25″. CONDITION: Eagle separated from its talons with extensive denting to proper left side of body and to left wingtip with separations of seam.
