TIFFANY STUDIOS DRAGONFLY TABLE LAMP. Highly unusual blue glass wings with blue and purple striated bodies with flat purple eyes decorate this fully leaded shade. The seven dragonflies are pointed downwards with overlapping wings. Further enhancing the shade are two geometric bands of glass in a complimentary purple hue. The shade is finished with large purple and blue cabochon jewels. All of this on a caramel and butterscotch striated glass ground. Shade is supported by a three socket gold finished Roman base with large single column and circular foot and is completed by a gold finished pierced top cap. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios 1495”. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 528”. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Lamp is 24″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with very few if any tight hairlines. Base is very good to excellent with droplet stains to foot of base as well as hand worn finish to stem. 5-61427 (60,000-80,000)
