The flame mahogany case of lyre form with C-scrolled leaftip moldings, centering a Fahrenheit / Centigrade thermometer above the silvered dial inscribed “J. BASSNETT” above “LIVERPOOL”, each within a scrolled cartouche, above a brass adjustment knob. The interior fitted with a glass mercury column. SIZE: 37-1/2″ h.
