US CIVIL WAR CARTRIDGE BOX AND SLING. Box is marked “LONGLEY & Co. LEWISTON, ME, 1862”. Box retains lead-filled US box plate. Sling retains lead-filled eagle breastplate. CONDITION: Box and sling both very solid. Crazing to surfaces. Covered in protectorate. Plates both in good condition, small bend to edge of eagle breastplate.
