MOVADO ERMETO ART DECO LADY’S PURSE WATCH. Second quarter 20th century, Swiss. This self winding example with rectangular brick colored case, probably bakelite opening and closing to reveal a rectangular pearlized dial marked “MOVADO/ERMETO” with Arabic numeral chapter ring. Rear of watch with serial number “6725” and “9k” accompanied by hallmarks including “375”. Also marked “PATENT” and “SWISS MADE”. SIZE: Closed: 1-5/8″ x 1″. Open: 1-1/2″ x 1″. CONDITION: Outer case with nice patina and color. Dial somewhat discolored. Otherwise good condition. 9-24814 (1,000-2,000)
