MOVADO CHRONOMETER MODEL GENTLEMAN’S POCKET WATCH. Second quarter 20th century, Swiss. This example with sterling silver case opening and closing to reveal a square black enameled dial marked “CHRONOMETER/MOVADO” with subsidiary seconds dial within Arabic chapter ring. Rear of watch with serial number “1183264”, additionally marked “PATENT/MOVADO FACTORIES/SWISS” and hallmarked with a crown as well as “H F” centering a heart within an oval, additionally marked “STERLING SILVER”, “SWISS MADE”, “0935” within rectangle and lion hallmark. Center of back engraved with initials “M.K.” SIZE: Closed: 2″ x 1-1/4″. Open: 3″ x 1-1/4″. CONDITION: Case very good with normal and expected wear with good patina. Dial very good. Self-winder is functional but needs attention & adjustment. Dial has been enhanced. 9-24822 (1,000-1,500)
