RACHEL (American, 19th/20th Century) HER ROOM. Gouache on paper interior room scene shows a wall decorated with vines and weeping willow trees having two oval flower and butterfly pictures. A large floor screen with rose design. A large Tiffany type bronze candlestick, an Empire card table with wax flower memorial under dome and the central figure of a girl on a fancy Victorian ballroom chair. Signed lower right “Rachel”. An old tape sticker “Information from old sticker framed by W. R. Geddis Brattleboro, VT”. Housed in a stained oak antique frame having glass on both sides. SIZE: Sight: 13-1/2″ x 16-1/2″. CONDITION: The right edge 1/4″ has been taped with visible line, otherwise very good. 9-99997 (500-1,000)
