MOVADO ART DECO GENTLEMAN’S POCKET WATCH. Second quarter 20th century, Swiss. This self winding example with alarm and within rectangular alligator clad case opening and closing to reveal a square pearlized dial marked “MOVADO/SWITZERLAND” with silver Arabic chapter ring set as a square and with sweep seconds hand and alarm hand. Rear of watch marked “MOVADO INDUSTRIES SWITZERLAND”. Winding arbors are recessed on side of case between 11 and 1 positions. SIZE: Closed: 2″ x 1-1/2″. Open: 3″ x 1-1/2″. CONDITION: Case with nice color and patina. Dial has been enhanced. Surface scratch on crystal, otherwise very good. 9-24823 (1,500-2,500)
