MOVADO ART DECO LADY’S PURSE WATCH. Second quarter 20th century, Swiss. This self-winding example with rectangular case marked, “18k”. Gold case opening and closing to reveal a rectangular pearlized dial with gold Arabic chapter ring centering “CHRONOMETER/MOVADO”. Rear of watch with serial number “2357”, additionally marked “MOVADO FACTORIES/PATENT”, “SWISS MADE”. SIZE: Closed: 1-5/8″ x 1″. Open: 2-1/2″ x 1″. CONDITION: Appears very good overall. Dial has been redone, self-winding mechanism appears operational. 9-24815 (2,000-3,000)
