FRENCH EMPIRE FIGURED YEW TABLE REGULATOR CLOCK. Circa 1830. The domed crest mounted above the circular enamel dial within a stamped brass bezel with Roman numeral chapter ring, calendar aperture, time-and-strike winder, and an eight-day brass pinwheel escapement movement, centered by four free-standing two columns with cast-brass capitals and bases, the rear supports rectangular on molded bases. The brass regulator-form pendulum beneath a lyre-form suspension support, all on a rectangular plinth. SIZE: 17-1/2″ h. x 10-1/2″ w. x 5-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Clock and case fully cleaned and restored.
