DOUGLAS RICKS (American, 1954-2003) “BIRCH CREEK CAMP”. Oil on board western scene shows a Native American seated at a campfire next to two tepees in colors of red, gray and black. Some poles are set up with drying lines and three birds fly above. In the background are snow covered mountains and the foreground being grass covered plain.
