LARGE STONEWARE JUG WITH BLUE DECORATION. Third quarter 19th century, New York. Three gallon jug with impressed mark “WHITES’ UTICA.” Nicely decorated in underglaze blue with stylized flowering sprig with two blooms. The ovoid jug applied with C-scroll handle. SIZE: 16-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Structurally very good, with normal and expected abrasions. Dark discoloration around foot. Otherwise very good. 9-29061 (300-500)
