ORLANDO ROULAND (American, 1871-1945) “FROM AN OLD GARDEN”. Fine oil on canvas still life scene shows amethyst and purple aster type flowers arranged in a copper handled jug set on a pewter plate. The background is a printed wall paper with tropical scene including storks and building. Signed lower right. On reverse of stretcher is an original label with title and artist. Housed in a period gilt ribbed wood frame retaining the Kensington Fine Arts Society label. SIZE: 20″ x 16″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96905 (1,000-1,500)
