ATTRIBUTED TO HANS HOFMANN (American/German, 1880-1966) COASTAL SUN BATHERS. Watercolor scene shows three women with blankets at side of rocky coastline with water and hills. Initialed lower left “HH 14”. The back of the watercolor pencil inscribed “Corse 14″. This may indicate this was done while in Corsica in and around 1914. Housed in a fine carved & gilt decorated frame with white matte & glass. SIZE: Sight: 12-1/2″ x 14”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-22949 (2,000-4,000)
