FRENCH WAX PROFILE BUST. Second quarter 19th century, French. Wax profile of military figure with cap, a tricolor ribbon at peak and set within a displayed eagle. Possibly Napoleon. Whole within oval wooden frame carved with ribbon tied wreath. SIZE: Figure: 3-1/2″ x 3″. Overall: 7-1/4″ x 4-1/2″. CONDITION: Structurally good with old repair to frame at ribbon and with deterioration to coloring of figure. 9-24376 (1,500-2,500)
