AKOP (UR) GURDJAN (American/Armenian, 1881-1948) NUDE FLANKED BY LLAMAS. Art deco terracotta sculpture shows a standing nude woman with arms outstretched and around two opposing standing llamas. Art deco stylized figures showing a frontal view on one side and the back side on the other. Signed on the rectangular base “A Gurdjan”. SIZE: 14-1/2″ h x 16-3/4″ w x 5″ d. CONDITION: Vertical crack through wrist down through top of leg on right llama. Nice patina, otherwise very good. 9-22751 (4,000-5,000)
