NEW ENGLAND SHERATON MAHOGANY & BIRCH CARD TABLE. First quarter 19th century, Boston. The rectangular hinged top with elliptic sides and serpentine front and ogival corners above a conforming frieze with figural satin birch panels with string inlaid borders raised on tapered reeded cylindrical ring-turned legs with ringed cuffs above shaped turned feet. SIZE: 29-1/2″ h x 37″ w x 17-1/2″. CONDITION: With original surfaces, having normal and expected wear. Chip to proper right rear corner of top at hinge, structurally very good. 9-29062 (3,000-5,000)
