ERNEST LUDWIG KIRCHNER (Germany, 1880-1938) TREES. Watercolor and graphite scene depicts a group of trees with green tops. Unsigned front but on reverse is a square purple stamp “Nachlass E. L. Kirchner” and written in pen underneath is “A Bc/Aa 28”. Above the box is a pencil inscription “K3728″. Housed in a modern gilt frame with white matte. SIZE: 17″ x 21”. CONDITION: Examined out of frame, very good with a small tear in the edge of the paper under the matte. 9-22586 (5,000-10,000)
