TIFFANY STUDIOS & GRUEBY TABLE LAMP. Lamp begins with a conical shade constructed in nicely mottled lemon yellow glass with touches of cream, ivory and butterscotch. The shade has remnants of a gold finish that has developed a warm patina finish over the years. The shade is supported by a bulbous green pottery vase with abstract leaves and yellow flowers. The base is completed with a three light Tiffany conversion ending with a riser, wheel and pierced top cap. This lamp represents the epitome of the Arts & Crafts era. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1496” and base is signed “Grueby Pottery Boston USA”, also has a partial “Grueby Pottery USA” paper label. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Lamp is 23″ t.
