DIMINUTIVE SHERATON BOWFRONT SIDEBOARD. First third 19th century, New England. Tiger maple and birch example with rectangular top with turret corners and splash guard with rolled ears fitted with a pair of aligned short drawers above a pair of cupboard doors flanked by bottle drawers over a long drawer, all with bow fronts and cockbeaded edges. The case with reeded baluster-turned three-quarter columns terminating in ball feet. SIZE: 45″ h overall x 43″ w x 21-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: Collection and shop contents of Linda and the late Vito Peri (owners of the Blue Dolphin Antique Shop, Northport, Maine). CONDITION: Very good with cleaned and polished old surfaces. 9-90039 (3,000-4,000)
