TIFFANY STUDIOS FAVRILE LAMP. Tiffany Studios lamp has beautiful decorated favrile shade with pulled and hooked iridescent design surrounding the shoulder of the shade against a cream colored background. Area from the top rim down to the pulled decoration has mottled gold iridescence with pink and blue highlights. Shade rests on a rare Tiffany bronze base with flame decoration encircling the platform and a vertically ribbed stem leading to the three-arm spider and two-socket cluster. Base is finished in a rich brown patina and rests on five wafer feet. Base is signed with an applied tag “Tiffany Studios New York 540”. Shade is unsigned but numbered “53521”. SIZE: Shade is 12″ dia. Lamp is 16-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, with some minor discoloration to patina on base. 5-67527 (7,500-9,500)
