IMPORTANT QUEEN ANNE CANDLESTICK. Third quarter 18th century. Owned by Col. Donnelly of the Virginia Militia, one of the participants at the Battle of Point Pleasant during Dunmore’s War in 1774. This example missing bobeche and ejector. Well worn from use. The faceted stem joined to the stepped octagonal shaped base. SIZE: 7″ h. PROVENANCE: By descent through the family.
