TIFFANY STUDIOS PRISM LAMP. Tiffany Studios table lamp has etched metal shade dome resting on a bronze shade ring with openwork wave design. The ring is decorated with 63 translucent gold iridescent Tiffany prisms. The shade rests atop a decorated Tiffany base with five ball feet, vertical ribbing on the edge of the platform, and applied bronze wire swirls with tendrils that extend up the shaft. A similar example is pictured in the book “Tiffany Lamps and Metalware” by Alastair Duncan, pg. 120, illustration 513. Metal shade dome is signed on the side “Tiffany Studios New York S1147”. Base is signed on bottom “Tiffany Studios New York 362”. SIZE: Shade is 16-1/2″ dia. Lamp is 27-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with one cracked and repaired prism and two missing prisms. 5-66999 (25,000-35,000)
