PICTORIAL HOOKED RUG. Last quarter 19th century, New England. This graphic example depicting a family group of mother, father and daughter flanked by a house with barn, sunflowers with heart-shaped leaves, peacocks and stylized trees, all on a salmon ground, the initials “BPS” in lower left corner. Reminiscent of Grenfell Industries works, now professionally mounted. SIZE: 48″ h x 36″ w. CONDITION: Very good overall, with no restorations or repairs. 9-28461 (2,000-3,000)
