BURGUN & SCHVERER CAMEO VASE. Rare museum quality hunt scene vase depicts men on horseback with hounds. A multitude colors is set against a rum colored ground with arabesque designs, with the words “THE HUNT IS UP” in cameo. Finishing the vase is gold gilding and a highly unusual black and white design similar to fleur de lis. Vase is signed with a complex monogram having a thistle, the Cross of Lorraine, and within a ribbon the following: “VERRERIE D’ART DE LORRAINE”. On the Cross is written, “B S & Co”. SIZE: 4-1/2″ t.
