TIFFANY STUDIOS ROMAN TABLE LAMP. The massive shade begins with green striated glass to the upper section that has hints of white, yellow and blue. Beyond this are a band of ellipses and diamonds bordered by narrow yellow rectangles which encircle the shade at the center. A band of long shallow half-ellipses in milky green surrounds the shade near the lower border. The final border is comprised of nicely mottled soft yellow glass. The shade is supported by an important Tiffany base that carries a six light cluster over a thick columnar shaft ending in a double padded circular foot. There is also a diamond and geometric brick pattern to column and foot of base. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York”. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 529”. SIZE: Shade 24″ across. Base is 28″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with very few hairlines. Base is very good to excellent. 5-69274 (40,000-50,000)
