PAIR OF SIGNED PAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUES. Late 19th- Early 20th century. One depicting a woman on the seashore; a basket of fish under her arm, waving a handkerchief. The second depicting a sailor or fisherman posed on the shore in front of a beached boat, wearing hip boots, a pair of oars over his shoulder. Each signed in script, “Joanne L.” Housed in matching, carved wood frames. SIZE: 14″ x 10-3/4″. Overall: 18″ x 15″. CONDITION: Both plaques in very good condition, frames very good as well. 9-27500 (1,000-2,000)
