PAIR UNIQUE CROCUS TABLE LAMPS. Representing the epitome of the art nouveau period, these lamps begin with irregular border shades with caramel colored backgrounds, decorated with crocus flowers in gold striated glass, with red, rouge and pink in the stems and ribbon borders. The shades are supported by similar 3-socket bases with cylindrical stems and stepped circular bottoms. The shades may be further referenced in the book Mosaic Shades Volume II, by Paul Crist, p. 67. However, the examples being offered here are much more colorful and lively. SIZE: Each shade 18″ dia. Each lamp 25″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some tight hairlines to panels and minor solder work to leading. One top cap has a hole to the rolled under rim. 5-60561 (8,000-10,000)
