OUTSTANDING HAND-PAINTED KPM PORCELAIN PLAQUE OF A GYPSY GIRL, TAMBOURINE, HARP IN LANDSCAPE. Impressed “KMP” scepter mark on verso with Dresden label. This outstanding plaque shows a standing barefoot girl in white dress with red wrap. She holds a tambourine, and there is a harp beside. She stands at the end of a building, overlooking a landscape scene. Housed in a wonderful carved wood acorn decorated wood frame. The scene from a bible reference in Exodus chapter 15, verse 19, “… the Prophetess Miriam, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine in her hand…” SIZE: 13″ X 7-3/4″. 16″ x 11″.
