WILKINSON POPPY LEADED TABLE LAMP. The shade begins at the aperture with beautiful deep teal and blue striated glass from this large butterscotch striated panels form the middle part of the shade which then ends in a large floral poppy design. The pedals of the poppies are constructed in various shades of the color red and several types of glass are used to give them a three dimensional effect. The eyes of the poppy flowers are made in heavily textured yellow and amber glass. Completing this border pattern are a multitude of green colors representing the foliage. The shade rests upon a time worn brass finished base with three sockets, top cap and finial. SIZE: Shade 19″ dia. Overall 25″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good with a few tight hairlines and very minor solder repair. Patina on base has minor discoloration and heat cap appears to be a replacement. 5-68709 (7,000-9,000)
