MASSACHUSETTS FEDERAL STYLE PRESENTATION BANJO CLOCK. Circa 1900, possibly Waltham. The banjo form timepiece of typical form with white enameled painted dial beneath a brass eagle finial. The eglomise throat glass of oak leaf clusters flanked by brass fillets. The box base with similarly decorated eglomise panel, centering an oval landscape with sheep. Above a bracket mounted with spherules and acorn drop finial. Time piece with eight day brass movement. Clock retains pendulum, weight, and winder. SIZE: 41-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Clock appears to be in overall good order. Retaining original eglomise panels. 9-27719 (700-900)
